The 13^th annual signature Eat to the Beat event took place on September 23, 2008 at the magnificent Roy Thomson Hall. The doors opened at 7:00PM and guests were enticed by an incredible array of sweet and savoury treats created by the talented chefs, while sipping beverages from some of Canada’s finest wineries and breweries. To round out the evening, Eat to the Beat had live music by the Advocats Big Band, Noah Zacharin, Laura Fernandez, Tabby Johnson and Rosemary Galloway, an exciting raffle, a seductive silent auction and a collection of food-inspired corsets celebrating women, food and life. A terrific addition to this year’s event was the 'Wine, Dine & Design,’ an auction of designer table settings where the highest bidder wins not only the décor, but also a meal prepared in their own home by of one of our talented Eat to the Beat chefs!
