Question... does size really matter? Well it does because on June 22, 2008 it was all about fashion for petite women! Petitefashionista.com, proudly presented the first fashion extravaganza for petite women 5'4 and under at the Proof Bar & Sky Lounge, Inter-Continental Hotel (220 Bloor St W., Toronto).

What could one possibly expect from an event such as this? Does it have the WOW factor to drawn the crowd in and establish a spot on the petite Torontonian women's must attend event list? Would it be just like the usual fashion event setting? These were some of the questions that ran through my mind as I made my way to the event with my assistant.

We arrived 15 minutes before the start of the event and all the booths were fully set up and there was a line of attendees already forming at the entrance eagerly waiting to see what's in store for them. Initially, I thought it was going to be just the same ole shopping and fashion show event but for petite women, however when I saw the schedule I was thrilled that they have much more than that in store for everyone! In fact, it was like a little 6 hours retreat for all the petite women under one roof. You get to shop for the latest trends in clothing that's tailored to the petite crowd, accessorized with all the beautiful earrings, necklaces, rings, shoes and in between shopping you can get a nice massage, manicures, make-up and glamour photo shoot, learn how to Salsa, Hip Hop, obtain professional dressing and style tips, join in the Petite Celebrity Wardrobe Auction (featured donator, Hayden Panettiere), dance and enjoy watching a fashion show.
