The Brazilian Carnival Ball 2009 - Metro Toronto Convention Centre (April 25, 2009)
The festivities started as guests made their way into the beautifully decorated grand ballroom. Once again Zeka Marquez (Director of Decor) did an amazing job creating the dazzling set that was made and flew all the way from Brazil! Evan Solomon the Master of Ceremonies opened the evening and invited Patricia Costa & Erika Sá to sing the Brazilian Nation Anthem followed by the amazing Madison Scott who sang the Canadian Nation Anthem. 11 year old Madison Scott is a SickKids Patient Ambassador (Oncology), who is currently starring as Louisa in the Toronto production of the Sound of Music.
