Canada's Walk of Fame 2009 Inductees


Anne Murray (Host)
Anne is the host of the evening's Tribute show and was a 1998 Canada's Walk of Fame recipient.
Anne is a Grammy and multiple JUNO Award winning Canadian singer.

Blue Rodeo (Inductee)
Blue Rodeo is a 2009 Walk of Fame inductee. Blue Rodeo is a multi JUNO Award winning band. They are one of the premier bands in Canadian music history having sold over 4 million copies worldwide.
They are currently in the studio recording their latest album.

Chantal Petitclerc (Inductee)
Chantal is a 2009 Walk of Fame inductee. She lost both legs in an accident at the age of 13. She went on to compete as a wheelchair athlete in the Paralympic Games starting in 1992.
She has become the most decorated track athlete with a total of 21 medals including 14 gold.

Dean and Dan Caten / Dsquared2 (Inductee)
Dsquared2 is a 2009 Walk of Fame inductee. They created their first menswear collection in 1991 and quickly attracted a huge celebrity following such as: Madonna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
They are currently preparing to launch their own signature male and female fragrance lines.

Howie Mandel (Inductee)
Howie is being inducted to the 2009 Walk of Fame. Born in Toronto, he got his start on amateur night at the legendary Comedy Store. Since then he went on to win an Emmy for his work in the hit television series "St. Elsewhere."
He is currently the host of the highly popular NBC show "Deal or No Deal."
