Canada's Walk of Fame 2010 - The Canon Theatre (October 16, 2010)

(TORONTO) - The 13th annual Canada's Walk of Fame was held at the Canon Theatre on October 16, 2010. With a red carpet that spanned at least double the length from the previous year, we welcomed our 2010 inductees Clara Hughes, David Clayton Thomas, Doug Henning, Eric McCormack, Farley Mowat, Nelly Furtado and Sarah Polley. Nikki Yanofsky, musical prodigy, was honoured with First-Ever Allan Slaight Award.

This has been such an incredible year for me,” said Yanofsky, who recently performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.  “I may be the first to receive this honour but I know that Canada has plenty of rising stars that will continue to inspire young people across the country and around the world.
