Book Lover's Ball - Fairmont Royal York (February 10, 2011)

In its sixth year, The Book Lover's Ball - Black and White and Red All Over took place at the historic Fairmont Royal York on February 10, 2011. Proceeds from this extraordinary event will enhance the work of Toronto's Library, the busiest urban public library system in the world. Guests indulged in an unforgettable night commencing with decadent hors d'oeuvres prepared by celebrity chef Marc Thuet at the cocktail reception, a silent auction and raffle, followed by a gourmet dinner and conversation with Canada's top literary talent. The emcees for the evening were Pam Seattle and Melanie Ng (Reporters, City News).

Celebrity Chef Marc Thuet is the best selling author of numerous cookbooks and featured publications, most recently "French Food My Way" which details over 100 delectable recipes by season, inlcuding Thuet's famous preserves and sauces. Marc is a regular, sought after expert guest on many network television shows.

His goal to maintain success at the top of this field has driven his brand to create the successful culinary social experiment television series Conviction Kitchen on CityTV as well as a catering company, a bakery specializing in artisan breads, and his signature restaurants which include Atelier Thuet and Petite Thuet.
