Canadian Makeup Show - Better Living Centre (November 8 & 9, 2008)
Saturday (Nov 8th, 2008) was a day filled with many events in downtown Toronto. This particular event is geared towards make-up artists and just about anyone who is interested in make-up. The 2nd annual Canadian Makeup Show 2008 was held at the Better Living Centre on the Exhibition Grounds on November 8 & 9, 2008.
There were lots of make up products, keynote speakers, educational seminars and student competitions throughout the day. Our very own in-house editor went on a shopping spree and purchased a HD foundation kit, a lipstick applicator device, calendars and much more.
I had an opportunity to speak to Shana King from adesign, a company based in Atlanta, Georgia that specializes in make up brushes. Only the highest grade of both synthetic and natural hair fibers are used in adesign brushes to achieve an outstanding make up application. Each adesign brush has been crafted with precise technique for the ultimate shape and design. They have been very well
reviewed online and appeared in magazines like allure, Lucky, Redbook, justine and more.
I love the Flat Top Foundation Kabuki brush. The innovative shape of this brush creates a dramatic finish and it works great for powder and wet-to-dry foundation. The hair fibers are top notch quality and really soft to the touch. The brush comes with it's own pouch that is both compact and stylish.
