Fashion Cares is an annual gala in support of the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), with the goal of building awareness of HIV/AIDS and raising funds for ACT. On November 1, 2008 Fashion Cares presents Fashion sCares at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. It's Haute Couture meets Hitchcock in the most outrageous Halloween-inspired extravaganza in Fashion Cares history! Now in its 22^nd year, the event will be supported by a talented cast comprised of: 10 hairstylists, 80 makeup artists, 100+ models and countless volunteers.

The night started off with a gala dinner prepared by Chef Angelo Fernandes, Executive Chef of the MTCC. At 9:30PM the Fashion sCares feature presentation started with performances by Toronto's own funk fashion phenomenon Fritz Helder & The Phantoms, Katy Perry and Kreesha Turner (EMI recording artists). The event concluded with a magnificient show-stopping performance by Shirley Bassey!
