The Venetian Ball 2009 - Metro Toronto Convention Centre (October 30, 2009)

This year, more than ever, Venice has come to Toronto! On October 30th, 2009 the 16th Annual Venetian Ball 2009 to benefit Villa Charities Foundation took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Despite the economic hard-times, the event grew bigger than ever and raised $1,008,000 in funds dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care to improve the quality of life for seniors, increase the confidence level of individuals with intellectual disabilities who learn new job and life skills and continue the cultural programming that inspires the community. The VIP reception started at 6:30PM followed by dinner in the grand Venice hall with entertainment by Simply Grand and Father Guido Sarducci, of Saturday Night Live Fame.
