Toronto, ON, October 12, 2012 - RETHINK BREAST CANCER transformed the one and only SOUND ACADEMY (11 Polson Street, Toronto, ON) into the hottest summer camp scene for BOOBYBALL 2012! This year's glam fest took more than 1500 party campers straight back to the good'ol days of sleep-away camp for a great night of exciting activities and music entertainment by DJs Brendan Fallis and Mista Jiggz.
"Boobyball has grown over the past 11 years into the 'must attend' fundraiser for young philanthropists," says MJ Decoteau, Executive Director Rethink Breast Cancer, "This year's theme camp Booby is such a fun way to get young people out in support of our important work with young women with breast cancer."
Led by Rethink Breast Cancer's BOOBYBALL co-chairs Jennifer Zimmerman (Holt Renfrew), Lisa Kruger (Brill Communications), Ainsley Kerr and Honorary chair Aliya - Jasmine Sovani of MTV, this year's team of committed campers are guaranteeing ticket-holders have a night of throwback summer fun, while raising funds for an important cause. This year's goal is to raise $215,000. Proceeds from the event will help expand vital programs for young women with breast cancer and develop and fund desperately needed new programs.
CAMP BOOBY activities included: VIP suites, sports complex by IZOD, a special showcase from Guess by Marciano, Tassimo coffee, Stella and Stella Legere tasting stations, [yellowtail] wine, H2O from Mavea, Delicious chow by TASTE Culinary, Music by DJs Brendan Fallis and Mista Jiggz, Boobyball's infamous overnight survival packs (goody bags)!!
