The preliminary competition was held the next day (August 22, 2008) at the Cave Nightclub in Toronto. It was a FREE event and if you didn't make it, you missed the preview of what's to come in the Miss Latina Canada 2009 Pageant Finals. The competition was broken down into two parts, starting with all 20 delegates in their swimsuit. After a short intermission they walked the stage once again in their evening gown. At the end of the night, the 4 judges tallied up their scores and the Top 10 delegates will be announced at the Miss Latina Canada 2009 Finals.
